Photography has been a hobby of mine for many years. I love the freedom of being outside and of trying to capture the perfect picture.

I worked as a counselor, supervisor, and manager in the Social Service field for many years before joining the Peace Corps. From 1997 to 2000, I was in Romania, where I learned to live and work in a fascinating cross-cultural environment. I learned how to start a project, and look for creative solutions when things weren't working out as planned. I learned to be flexible, and how to adapt and modify things to fit different needs. .

Ioana has a Degree in English, and an MA in Applied Linguistics, both from the University of Bucharest, Romania. She was an English Teacher for many years before her current position with an International Organization. Ioana and I met in 1997 and realized we had many things in common, and our friendship was cemented through our love of nature, and travel. After deciding to establish Assured Photography, both of us went back to school. I took several Business classes, and Ioana took an International Marketing class.
